Carlton Operatic Society

Welcome to award-winning Carlton Operatic Society's website.

Carlton Operatic was founded in 1921 and is based in Netherfield, Nottingham. We are affiliated to NODA, and we perform each year in the Nottingham Playhouse. Society members also perform in concert during the closed season.

Our next show in March 2009 will be The Producers, and that will be followed in 2010 by Jekyll & Hyde - The Musical.

A summer concert, Foot Tapper, was performed at the Nottingham Arts Theatre on 6th September 2008. Summer Holiday, our 2008 production, completed its run at the Nottingham Playhouse in March.

Noda Awards

Thoroughly Modern Millie, our 2007 production, won the "Best Musical" award in the 2008 East Midlands Noda Awards.
